a little me for what ails ya...

Jennifer Hendershot, now Jennifer DiFonzo, has been writing poetry for over twenty years. While she has won two awards and has had a few individual publications in literary magazines and anthologies, her first book, because you asked, contains a collection of some of her favorite works, a few of which are posted on the poetry page of this site. Her writing has been described as unique, insightful, and an exhibit of the ability to touch on diverse subject matter.

An editor for the last several years, Jennifer lives in Maryland with her husband, Mark; her dog, Joplin; and her cats, Sophie and Marty. She is stubborn, moody, impulsive, bossy and difficult, but in spite of all that she does manage to keep a handful of amazing friends, and be surrounded by a huge, eccentric, caring extended family.

She and her husband enjoy traveling, road trips, camping, fishing, canoeing, concerts, wine festivals, pretty much any kind of festival, politics, music, learning, debating, being spontaneous, the change of seasons, trying new things, seeing their loved ones gain happiness and success, conquering goals, being with their friends and family as much as possible...and everything in between.
